A system for video inspection of a passage such as a bore hole is provided. The system includes a carrying case having a deep housing and a removable cover with a spool of coaxial cable stored inside the carrying case. The coaxial cable exits the carrying case at an opening. A cable arm attached to the carrying case and supported by an adjustable leg conveys the coaxial cable to the passage. Attached to the end of the coaxial cable is a camera assembly. Camera assembly includes a single camera operable to capture an image in a first direction along a long axis and a second direction, ninety degrees offset from the first direction.
L'invention concerne un système de contrôle vidéo d'un passage tel qu'un trou de forage. Ce système comporte une mallette de transport possédant un boîtier profond et un couvercle amovible, dans laquelle est stockée un câble coaxial. Ce câble sort de la mallette par une ouverture. Un bras de câble fixé à la mallette et supporté par une patte réglable transporte le câble coaxial jusqu'au passage. Un ensemble de caméra est fixé à l'extrémité du câble coaxial. Cet ensemble de caméra comprend une seule caméra permettant de capturer une image dans une première direction, le long d'un axe long, et dans une deuxième direction, avec un décalage de quatre vingt dix degrés par rapport à la première direction.
