Disclosed is single-stranded cyclic RNA having a sustained or extended RNA interference activity. The single-stranded cyclic RNA comprises a sense strand sequence, an antisense strand sequence complementary to the sense strand sequence, and two loop sequences which are the same as or different from each other and are located between the sense strand and the antisense strand so as to bind the both strands to each other, wherein the sense strand and the antisense strand are paired to form a stem.

L'invention concerne un ARN cyclique à simple brin présentant une activité d'interférence ARN soutenue ou augmentée. L'ARN cyclique à simple brin comprend une séquence de brin sens, une séquence de brin antisens complémentaire à la séquence de brin sens, et deux séquences en boucle qui sont identiques ou différentes et qui sont situées entre le brin sens et le brin antisens, de manière à lier les deux brins ensemble. Dans ledit ARN cyclique, le brin sens et le brin antisens sont appariés afin de former une souche.
