ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A seal component which establishes a seal between a rotating shaft and a housing includes an annular face and an axially ex- tending tubular elastomeric bellows. The geometric configuration of the bellows allows it to buckle, exert a substantially uniform axially force over a wide operating range, and be used without reinforcing members.
