ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to an improved, single- element, filter and reusable respirator, which can be worn in silica dust, silica mist and asbestos environments, while providing increased visibility, safety and comfort for the respirator wearer. A significant feature of the respirator is a triangular shaped filter housing which allows the area of the filter media to be increased while at the same time reducing filter housing obstructions to the vision of the respirator wearer.
