SINGLE LEVER CONTROL FOR SELECTIVELY EFFECTING LIFTING OF MULTIPLE CUTTING UNITS OF A MOWER Abstract of the Disclosure A gang mower includes at least right and left wing and three central cutting units including reel drive motors and respectively to which right and left and central hydraulic lift cylinders are connected. A control system including a single control lever is provided for effecting lowering of all of the cutting units in unison and for establishing a driving condition in each reel drive motor when the control lever is moved forwardly to a "lower/mow" position during normal mowing operations. The central three cutting units are caused to be elevated to fully raised or stowed positions and their reel drive motors turned "off" by moving the control lever to an intermediate "raise" position. Concurrent raising of the wing units and turning "off" of their motors is achieved by moving the control lever rearwardly to a momentary extreme "raise" position with a near vertical transport position of the wing units being possible. A pair of toggle switches are provided for individually controlling raising and lowering of the wing units and stopping and starting of their motors whereby one, both or neither of the wing units may be used together with the central three units for mowing.
