SINGLE-STROKE PNEUMATIC APPARATUS Abstract A single-stroke pneumatic apparatus contains a hollow cylindrical frame, in which is mounted, for reciprocating back and forth, a striker which forms front and rear cham- bers in the bore of the frame. The front chamber has inlet and outlet ports of its own and so has the rear chamber. A directional flow control sleeve fitted outside the frame is arranged to uncover and overlap the inlet and outlet ports. The sleeve is provided with longitudinal internal pa sages at its forward and rearward ends and with forward and rearward radial holes.
