The invention is based on the finding that Clp1 has the activity of an RNA kinase. Clp1 is therefore useful as an enhancer of siRNA activity. It can be used per se, in kits or expressed in cell lines. Clp1 transgenic and Clp1 knock-out non-human animals are useful for studying the function of siRNAs. Clp1 is also useful in gene therapy to enhance the efficacy of therapeutic siRNAs.
La découverte faisant l'objet de cette invention porte sur l'activité ARN kinase du gène Clp1. Le Clp1 se révèle ainsi utile en tant qu'activateur de l'activité ARNsi. Il peut être utilisé tel quel, dans des trousses ou exprimé dans des lignées cellulaires. Le Clp1 transgénique et le Clp1 inactivé non humains se révèlent utiles pour l'étude du fonctionnement des ARNsi. Le Clp1 se révèle également utile en thérapie génique pour accroître l'efficacité des ARNsi thérapeutiques.
