ABSTRACT The boot comprises an upper which is hinged with a shell and can be pivoted backwards on this shell. The upper and the shell are connected, at the rear, by a connecting mechanism of the knuckle into type, comprising a lever hinged with the shell and a link hinged with the upper. An elastic body is accommodated between an extension of the link and the upper in such a way that it opposes opening of the mechanism and consequently ensures automatic closure of the latter. An elastic element may be mounted between one of the hinging pins and a stop so as to achieve an elastic connection.
