A b s t r a c t A ski boot having a sole plate (1), a shell (2, 3, 4, 12, 26, 27, 28, 39, 40, 41) and a support (9) which can be fixed at the lower leg above the ankle and which is connected with the sole plate by a yoke (5), said support is a closeable cuff (9) which coacts with at least one shell portion (12, 26) and is connected to the yoke (5) by a bracket (7) surrounding approximately half of the circumference of the lower leg preferably at a height between two closures (11a, 11b) of the cuff (9).
