A ski boot drying system (10) which is incorporated into ski boot storage racks (20, 100). The shelves (50, 120) of the ski boot racks (20, 100) are modified to include internal or retro-fitted air ducts (30, 90) which deliver warm air to the boots (40) stored in the rack (20, 100) below. Small holes (60, 110) are provided in the air ducts (30, 90) over the position for each boot (40) so that warm air is supplied into each boot (40) as it is stored in the rack (20, 100). Air pressure is provided by a blower (70) placed atop of or adjacent the ski boot storage racks (20, 100). If desired, an external heat source such as a central air heating system can also be used to heat the air taken in through the blower (70) or can be used as the sole source of heated air so that a blower is unnecessary.
