A ski-sled having particular application for the disabled in which the skier sits and controls speed and direction of the vehicle with their hands. An identical pair of left and right control linkages allows the skier to push and pull hand grips along linear axes, thereby in each linkage levering a pair of obliquely connected rotating cylinders and so rotating a ski attached to the second cylinder. Friction wings attached near the ski tips further amplify the levering action, so that a disabled person with little strength or control in their arms, or possibly a child, can easily produce the force necessary to rotate the skis for braking or turning. The seat portion is fashioned high enough from the ground to accommodate common chair-lift situations.
