The carrier consists of two pouches into which the ends of the skis or snowboard are placed. The strap, which is attached to the pouches, is then lifted onto the shoulder. The weight of the skis or board pulls the drawstring closed. The drawstrings which are threaded through the eyelet's at the mouth of the pouches, pulls the pouches tightly around the skis or board. To remove the skis, loosen the drawstring manually at the mouth of the pouches, then the skis can simply be removed. When not in use, roll one pouch into a compact bundle using the strap, then place into the other pouch for easy storage. The drawstring can then be pulled tight manually, this closed bag, is now small enough to put in a coat pocket.
