A ski comprising complementary members (11, 12, 13) for amplifying the force exerted by the skier as he or she kicks forward on the ski (1), while helping to reduce the length of an upper fibre (3) of said ski for the same purpose, and making it easier to press a wax chamber (6) of the ski (1) against the snow. Said members are arranged as the interface between the ski (1) and a binding (7) perpendicular to the wax chamber (6), and include a resilient return member enabling controlled movement of the toe portion (7a) of the binding device (7).
