The WEEM is a highly sophisticated process of evaluating international work experience to that of Canadian standards. Through the use of modellers the WEEM evaluation engine rates, rank and matches a candidate's foreign work experience. The Modellers are paired off as component units with two benchmark modellers namely the NOC Task/Duty Modeller and the International Standards Classification of Occupation modeller. A candidate's work experience is fed into the engine via two Additional modellers called the Portfolio and Previous employment Modeller. A WEEM algorithm runs through the information captured through these modellers and evaluates international work experience to match rate and rank against Canadian work standards.
