The invention relates to an oil-free skin care composition for moisturizing the skin comprising (a) a humectant comprising glycerin and propylene glycol; (b) an emollient comprising isohexadecane, cyclomethicone, dimethicone, dimethiconecopolyol and trimethyl siloxysilicate; (c) a keratolytic agent; and (d) water. The skin care compositions according to the invention accomplish effective moisturization through a combination of the softening effects of emollients with the moisture retaining action of humectants and coating activities of lubricants. The combination of ingredients counteract the effect of moisture loss, thereby keeping skin soft, smooth and supple. The compositions according to the invention are non-comedogenic and have long lasting moisturizing effects without the use of occlusive materials.
Cette composition de soin de la peau hydratante, exempte d'huile, se compose, (a), d'un humectant renfermant de la glycérine et du propylène glycol, (b), d'un agent émollient renfermant de l'isohexadécane, de la cyclométhicone, de la diméthicone, du diméthiconécopolyol et du triméthyl siloxysilicate, (c), d'un agent kératolytique et, (d), d'eau. Les compositions de soin de la peau selon l'invention hydratent efficacement la peau et ce, du fait de la combinaison de l'action adoucissante des émollients, de la rétention d'humidité due aux humectants et de l'effet de couche des lubrifiants. Cette association d'ingrédients obvie à la perte d'hydratation, la peau restant douce, lisse et souple. Ces compositions, qui ne provoquent pas l'apparition de comédons, ont des effets hydratants durables et ce, sans recours à des substances occlusives.
