This invention provides skin cleansing formulations with a high level of biodegradability and little or no ecotoxicity, with a high level of efficiency and a maximum skin tolerance and no systemic toxicity. In the broadest aspect of the invention there is provided a cleansing formulation comprising 5 to 10 % of one or more methylesters of vegetable saturated and/or unsaturated fatty acids which may be from several natural sources including sunflower seed oil, soybean oil, rape seed oil, or coconut oil. The formulation includes between about 10% to 30% of one or more surfactants and a preferred combination of surfactants includes at least one ethoxylated fatty alcohol, one alkyl polyoxyethylene glycol, one alkanolamide and one polymeric quaternary ammonium salt.

L'invention porte sur un savon à grande efficacité fortement biodégradable, peu ou pas écotoxique, très bien toléré par la peau et sans toxicité systémique. Dans le sens le plus large de l'invention, sa composition comporte de 5 à 10 % d'un ou plusieurs méthylesters végétaux, des acides gras saturés et/ou non saturés pouvant provenir de différentes sources naturelles telles que les huiles de tournesol, de soja, de colza ou de noix de coco, et 10 % à 30 % d'un ou plusieurs tensio-actifs dont la combinaison préférée comprend au moins un alcool gras éthoxylé, un alkyl-polyoxyéthylène-glycol, un alkanolamide et un polymère de sel d'ammonium quaternaire.
