Cleaning products are disclosed which incorporate an increased amount of cationic compounds in or on the fibrous matrix of the substrate which allow the product to bind and remove various microbes and contaminants from the surface of skin. The products disclosed herein do not necessarily kill microbes on the skin's surface, but dislodge and bind the microbe through electrostatic interactions between the product and the microbe and allow the microbe to be removed by a positively charged substrate.

L'invention concerne des produits nettoyants comprenant une plus grande quantité de composés cationiques dans ou sur la matrice fibreuse du substrat, ce qui permet au produit de fixer et de retirer divers microbes et contaminants se trouvant sur la surface de la peau. Les produits décrits dans cette invention ne tuent pas nécessairement les microbes sur la surface de la peau, mais ils les délogent et les fixent par l'intermédiaire d'interactions électrostatiques entre le produit et le microbe, ce qui permet l'élimination du microbe par un substrat à charge positive.
