A transdermal drug delivery device includes an electrode, a porour insulating layer on one side of the electrode and im- pregnated with a liquid containing the drug to be delivered, a reservoir for the liquid on the other side of the electrode, and a dis- placeable diaphragm controlling the feeding of the liquid from the reservoir to the porous insulating layer via a passageway through the electrode.
