A slag transport and dumping apparatus, for use with slag, includes a vehicle, a pallet, and a lifting mechanism. The vehicle includes a bed having a pallet interface. The pallet includes a support frame having ground support members, and a transporter interface selectively engaging the pallet interface. A dump container has a slag reservoir. Rear pivots on the container and pallet, together with the lifting mechanism, which is securely mounted to the bed of the vehicle and selectively engages the container, enable secure selective pivoting of the container between slag retaining and pouring configurations. In a loading configuration, the reservoir receives the slag, the container is in the retaining configuration, and the vehicle is removed from the pallet. In a transporting configuration, the container is in the retaining configuration, and the vehicle securely engages the pallet, in carrying relation, thus enabling transport of the pallet.
L'invention concerne un appareil de transport et de déversement de scories, destiné à être utilisé avec des scories et comprenant un véhicule, une palette et un mécanisme de levage. Le véhicule comprend un tablier muni d'une interface pour palette. La palette comprend une armature de support dotée d'éléments de support au sol et une interface de transporteur interagissant sélectivement avec l'interface pour palette. Un récipient de déversement comporte un réservoir à scories. Des pivots arrière sur le récipient et la palette, combinés au mécanisme de levage qui est monté de façon sûre sur le tablier du véhicule et interagit sélectivement avec le récipient, permettent un pivotement sélectif sécurisé du récipient entre des configurations de retenue et de coulée des scories. En configuration de chargement, le réservoir reçoit les scories, le récipient est en configuration de retenue et le véhicule est séparé de la palette. Dans une configuration de transport, le récipient est en configuration de retenue et le véhicule s'enclenche de façon sûre avec la palette, en position relative de transport, permettant ainsi le transport de la palette.
