- 10 - SLEDGE-TYPE VEHICLES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A sledge or ski-type vehicle comprises a pair of runners and a chair section coupled to the runners only at upturned front portions of the runners. Thus the simple construction obviates the necessity for further cross members between the runners and can be readily separated into three separate sections comprising the two runners and the chair section. The runners and chair section are manufactured of tubular material. Footpads are provided on the rear of the runners behind the chair for a person pushing the chair to stand on the runners. The chair is formed of a fabric sleeved over the tubular chair frame.
