ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hermetic terminal assembly for a motor unit housing including a cup-shaped body, the bottom of which has a rim and at lease one hole defining annular sealing lip extending in the same direction therefrom through which hole an electrical connection pin extends in sealed relation thereto with the pin insulated by a protective extension sleeve bonded to a sealing insulator, the extension sleeve being formed relative the sealing insulator member and lip extremity to contact the outer periphery of the lip to remove possible sealing insulator cracking to a position removed from the pin.
