ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION SLEEVE ARRANGEMENTS FOR CABLES A sleeve arrangement formed from an elongate shrinkable strip 1 provided at its edges with beading portions 2 in which longitudinally extending, non- shrinkable strengthening means 3 are provided. The beading portions 2 are individually gripped by respective undercut channels 6 of a jointing member 4,5, 12 which preferably has a cross-section as two C-profiles, arranged back-to-back with a common central arm 12. Good heat conduction into the inner sealing zones may be effected via the central arm 12 during the shrinkage process. Coatings of fusion adhesive 9 in the sealing zones may be provided to increase the sealing effect. (Figure 1). - -17-
