ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A slide fastener slider includes a pull tab connector pivotably slidably connected to a lug on the upper wing of a slider body and pivotably supporting thereon a pull tab, the lug having a through hole extending longitudinally of the slider body. The connector has a portion supporting the pull tab and being locatable outside of the upper wing when the connector rest flatwise on the upper wing and the pull tab is disposed in alignment with the lug and the portion of the connector at right angles to the axis of the through hole. The advance in the art is in that the slider of the present invention is rendered particularly suitable for use in a slide fastener attached to a transversely extending opening in an article which is disposed in or at an angle to a vertical plane.
