This invention is an improvement on the present car covers. Present car covers are difficult for one individual to put on or take off the car because there is nothing to control the mass of material involved in a car cover. This invention consists of a sleeve sewn down the middle (lengthwise) of the underside of the car cover, through which a cord is inserted into this sleeve. This cord has a plastic hook attached at each end. One hook clamps unto the rear bumper and the cord is then drawn over the top of the car where the other hook is clamped to the front bumper. The car cover slides easily back and forth on this cord. The front end of the cord has an adjustable band where it is attached to the front hook for adjusting the front cord length to accommodate vehicle length.
