The invention provides an improved method to view and input data into a mobile device. The graphical user interface control, called a SlideList Control, combines the functions of a standard List Control and a method to display additional information about the selected item. It is designed for use with joystick, touch-screen wheel and keypad input methods and reduces the time and effort required to manipulate data.
