A slider lock assembly is disclosed, comprising a pair of male slider and female slider releasably coupled together by a lock tumbler pivotally mounted in a casing, the male slider having an integral extension with a lock cavity engageable with the lock tumbler. The lock tumbler is both rotatable and linearly movable and operatively associated with a dial device or a key-operated latch so that the two sliders can be coupled together selectively in a provisionally locked state or in a completely locked state.

On décrit un cadenas à glissière, composé d'une glissière mâle et d'une glissière femelle dont le couplage peut être relaxé au moyen d'un barillet monté dans un boîtier , mais libre de tourner. La glissière mâle compte un prolongement où se trouve une encoche coopérant avec le barillet du cadenas. Ce barillet peut à la fois entrer en rotation et glisser en ligne droite et il s'articule soit à une serrure, soit à un mécanisme de chiffre, de sorte que les glissières mâle et femelle peuvent être jointes de façon à cadenasser complètement ou partiellement un objet.
