Abstract It is desirable for safety window bars to be removable so that they will not interfere with the aesthetics of window fronts. In this invention, the vertical bars are penetrated by, and slide on, horizontal guides. The vertical bars can be locked in place by slitted, locking guides. These safety window bars are easily removed and stored and can be of heavier construction.
