The invention relates to a linear sliding connection (1; 14; 18; 21; 29; 33) between two structural parts (2, 3, 9, 10; 3, 38, 39, 40, 2, 3, 10, 25). Said structural parts can slide back and forth in relation to each other with a damping effect in at least one of the two directions of movement. The invention is characterised by a mechanical friction damping element with a wire basket (4) which acts as a friction or clamping element. Said wire basket (4) encompasses the first (2, 3; 3, 38) of the two moveable structural parts concentrically on a longitudinal section in such a way that it rests on the outer surface of said first structural part, with one axial end (first basket end 4a) fixed on the second structural part (9, 10; 39, 40; 25, 10) and the other axial end (second basket end 4b) positioned on said second structural part in such a way that it is axially slideable in a longitudinal direction. An elastic tension element (13; 41) acts upon said second basket end (4b) in an axial direction in such a way that the axial length of the wire basket (4) is stretched to a certain extent. At the same time, it presses essentially radially against the outer surface of the first structural part (2, 3; 3, 38) which it encompasses.

L'invention concerne une fixation coulissante (1; 14; 18; 21; 29; 33) linéaire, entre deux éléments constitutifs (2, 3, 9, 10; 3, 38, 40; 2, 3, 10, 25) pouvant se déplacer en va-et-vient mutuel, avec un effet amortisseur efficace dans au moins une des deux directions axiales de déplacement. La solution proposée par l'invention se caractérise par un amortisseur à friction comportant une corbeille métallique (4) faisant office d'élément de friction ou de serrage. Ladite corbeille entoure de manière concentrique le premier (2, 3; 3, 38) des deux éléments constitutifs coulissants, sur une section longitudinale, en prenant appui sur sa face extérieure. Cette corbeille est fixée sur le second élément constitutif (9, 10; 39, 40; 25, 10) par une de ses extrémités axiales (première extrémité de corbeille 4a) et est montée coulissante longitudinalement dans le sens axial sur ledit second élément constitutif par son autre extrémité (seconde extrémité de corbeille 4b), extrémité où ladite corbeille est sollicitée dans le sens axial par un élément de serrage (13; 41) à effet ressort, de manière à être quelque peu étirée dans sa longueur axiale, tout en étant simultanément comprimée dans une large mesure dans le sens radial contre la face extérieure du premier élément constitutif (2, 3; 3, 38), qu'elle entoure.
