ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A sliding door mounting system is disclosed for mounting a horizontally sliding door having upper and lower tracks. An elongated element is provided which is suspended from the lower horizontal rail member for free reciprocating vertical movement to the lower rail member. The elongated element includes means for effecting interfacing of the elongated element with the lower track.
