ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A sliding part produced by monomer casting. The sliding part consists of a bearing, a shaft which is rotatably or reciprocatably supported by and fitting into the bearing, and a resin lining formed on the bearing surf ace of the bearing. The resin lining is formed by pouring a low-viscosity monomer or prepolymer into the clearance between the bearing surface and the shaft and permitting the monomer or prepolymer to polymerize or cure in situ. The shaft is slidable on the resin lining.
