ABSTRACT A slingshot or bow which can fire darts and other projectiles has a power sling attached to a power draw unit and a carriage, both of which are mounted on a guide rail and slidable thereon independently of each other. Projectiles are fired when the carriage is freed from the cocked position by releasing a catch.
