Novel slug and snail baits, comprising a) 3,5-dimethyl-4-methylthio-phenyl methylcarbamate, optionally in a mixture with one or more other molluscicidally active compounds, b) fine cereal flour, c) modified starch and a formaldehyde-releasing substance, d) molasses and e) optionally additives, a process for preparing these slug and snail baits and their use for controlling terrestrial slugs and snails.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux appâts pour escargots, contenant a) du 3,5-diméthyl-4-méthylthio-phényl-méthylcarbamate, éventuellement mélangé à un ou plusieurs autres principes actifs molluscicides, b) de la farine de blé à grains fins, c) de l'amidon modifié et une substance éliminant le formaldéhyde, d) de la mélasse et e) éventuellement des additifs. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de ces appâts pour escargots et leur utilisation pour lutter contre les escargots terrestres.
