ABSTRACT This invention relates to a distributor for separating a major stream of slurry into a plurality of minor streams with the distributor including an inner housing having sidewalls and a base, a plurality of vertically elongated minor stream slurry outlets which are horizontally spaced around and pass through the sidewall of the housing, separate means on the outside of the housing for receiving slurry from each of the minor stream slurry outlets, a slurry outlet from each of the slurry receivers and a major stream slurry inlet from the outside of the housing into the housing.
