A B S T R A C T According to the present invention there is provided slurrying apparatus comprising a rotatable drum ar- ranged for rotation about its longitudinal axis and includ- ing a slurrying chamber portion so arranged that when the drum is rotated, feed material passes from an inlet of the slurrying chamber portion to a discharge chamber portion of the drum in which slurry and fine particles are separated from coarser particles and are discharged separately, and rotation means for causing rotation of the drum.
