The invention relates to a small arm, whose front section is equipped with a rail section comprising transversal grooves and running longitudinally, particularly a Picatinny rail and which is characterised by an additional grip that can be removably mounted on said Picatinny rail. The grip can be fixed to the rail or detached from the latter by tightening a screw (1). The invention also relates to a grip for a small arm of this type.
