Disclosed is a method for the inhibition of binding of a ligand to an RNA, the inhibition being mediated by a small organic molecule that binds to the RNA, thereby inhibiting ligand binding. A preferred class of small organic molecules are compounds exemplified by 2,5-Bis[3-(2-N,N-dimethylaminopropylamidino)phenyl]furan.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'inhiber la fixation d'un ligand sur un ARN, cette inhibition étant produite par une petite molécule organique qui se fixe à l'ARN, inhibant ainsi la fixation du ligand. Les petites molécules organiques appartiennent de préférence à la classe des composés dont l'exemple est le 2,5-bis[3-(2-N,N-diméthylaminopropylamidino)phényl]furanne.
