The present invention is an improved beverage cooler which has the added benefit of functioning as a regular multi-purpose cooler. This cooler has many advantages over present coolers on the market. First, you are able to dispense carbonated and non-carbonated beverages from outside the cooler without opening up the cooler. Second, the cooler provides a much more efficient use of the consumers time by putting the beverages within easy access of all the users. Third, the cooler maintains the beverages at their intended temperature for longer periods of time since the cooler is not opened up when dispensing the beverages. The cooler is fabricated from a plastic material which is highly resistant to the environmental conditions to which it will be exposed, it is very economical to manufacture. In essence, the device consists of two parts and the lid which when joined together fonn the cooler assembly. The top portion of the cooler is where the improved beverage dispenser mechanism is located. In this section one or more openings in the side wall of the top cooler allow for the protuded instalation of vented valves to which various beverage containers can be attached. The beverage containers are supported inside the device by molded, or removable and adjustable partitions. The purpose of the supports is to allow gravity to feed the dispensing system of the device. One of the advantage of adjustable partitions is that they can support a wide variety of beverage containers. In addition to the above, the top portion of the container contains a separate space for storing other items. This area is accessed through a access door integrated lid design, which allows the beverage area to maintain its insulating efficiency. The bottom portion of the cooler has a unique set of hinged handles which serve two purposes. First, they join and lock both parts of the cooler and at the same time act as a handle for transportation of the device when locked to the upper portion of the cooler. Second, it has the added benefit of covering the valves during transport to prevent damage.
Cette invention concerne une glacière à boissons améliorée offrant l'avantage de pouvoir servir de glacière multi-fonctions. Cette glacière présente de nombreux avantages par rapport aux autres glacières sur le marché. Premièrement, elle permet de soutirer des boissons aussi bien gazéifiées que non gazéifiées de l'extérieur sans avoir à l'ouvrir. Deuxièmement, elle permet aux usagers d'économiser du temps en étant facilement accessible à tous. Troisièmement, elle maintient les boisons à la température souhaitée plus longtemps du fait qu'on n'a pas à l'ouvrir pour prendre des boissons. Elle est fabriquée en plastique très résistant aux conditions environnementales et elle est très économique à fabriquer. Essentiellement, il s'agit d'un contenant en deux parties et d'un couvercle. La partie supérieure de la glacière comporte le distributeur amélioré de boissons. On trouve dans sa paroi une ou plusieurs ouvertures destinées à recevoir, en saillie, des robinets à évent auxquels on peut raccorder différents contenants à boisson. Ces contenants sont tenus en place à l'intérieur de la glacière par des séparateurs moulés, amovibles ou réglables. Ces supports sont conçus pour autoriser l'écoulement gravitaire des boissons. Un des avantages de ces supports-séparateurs réglables est la possibilité de placer dans la glacière des contenants de dimensions différentes. Outre ce qui précède, la partie supérieure de la glacière comporte un volume séparé où placer d'autres articles. L'accès à cette partie se fait par un panneau à charnière intégrée qui permet de maintenir l'intégrité de l'isolation thermique. La partie inférieur de la glacière comporte un ensemble innovateur de poignées articulées qui ont deux fonctions. Premièrement, elles servent à réunir et verrouiller ensemble les deux parties de la glacière tout en conservant leur fonction de poignée de manutention en position de verrouillage de la partie supérieure. Deuxièmement, elles servent de couvercle protégeant les robinets contre les varies en cours de transport.
