- 1 - SNAP-ACTION DEVICE FOR COOPERATING WITH TOOTHED WHEELS OR THE LIKE, IN PARTICULAR FOR USE IN ELECTRICAL CHANGE-OVER OR OTHER SWITCHES ABSTRACT A snap-action device for cooperating with toothed wheels or the like, in particular for use in electrical change-over or other switches, the body of said change-over switch (8) comprising a usual cylindrical wall (22), at the ends (21) of which there is provided at least one portion (102) inclined to an axis of symmetry (103) of said wall (22); the body of said device or pawl (1) comprises means (7) for connecting the pawl to the body of the change-over switch (8) to prevent accidental separation of the pawl, at least one tang (14) inclined to an axis of symmetry (D-D) of the pawl, and side walls (6) comprising at least one surface (100) inclined to the pawl base (101), said tang and said surface being arranged to facilitate the insertion of at least one elastic means (2) into a pawl cavity (20) and its pre-loading, said surface (100) cooperating with the portions (102).
