ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a snow-plow construction for locomotive machines, especially locomotives designed to run on rails, comprising at least one plowing plate pivotally mounted about a vertical axis which is offset with respect to the center line of the track of the locomotive machine, such that as the driving direction of the locomotive machine is reversed, the plow- ing plate can be turned through an angle of 180° from a front- plowing position on the track of the locomotive machine to a slide plowing position at the side of the locomotive machine and vice versa.
