A snow removal device is disclosed which comprises a plate and a handle extending from the plate. The plate has a bevelled portion along at least one side edge to allow snow removal from difficult to reach or angled areas, such as from underneath the wheel of a car. The snow removal device may additionally have a straight chopping portion along at least one side edge to facilitate the loosening of ice or compacted snow. The top edge of the plate may have a bent portion to direct the movement of snow contacting the plate in a downward direction.
