A reliable snow scoop is provided to more easily scoop snow. The convenient snowscoop has a large and deep scooped plastic blade with reinforcing ribs. For greater strength and to facilitate better scooping and lifting of the snow scoop, the strong snow scoop has a composite handle assembly with a metal core covered by a plastic sleeve. The handle assembly can have a plastic handgrip to further enhance gripping of the snow scoop.
