This invention relates to snow shovels with at least two casters installed on the underside of the shovel blade near the front edge for the purpose of permitting only the wheels of the casters making contact with roof shingles thereby preventing shovel blades from damaging asphalt shingles when manually pushing and shovelling snow from roofs, A large percentage of house owners in regions of heavy snowfall remove snow periodically from the roofs of houses. Asphalt shingles are susceptible to damage when the blades of conventional snow shovels scrape against said shingles and said damage oftentimes results in roof leaks and the necessity of new shingles. The snow shovel of this invention is for the purpose of doing away with said damage.
