ABSTRACT A power driven snow cycle comprising a front steerable ski and a motor driven propulsion unit which are connected to the rest of the snow cycle's structure by struts. The motor which has a defined frontal cross sectional area is carried above the snow surface so that impingement of snow is essentially eliminated and the rider and motor move above the surface of the snow to minimize the drag of the snow on the snow cycle.
