ABSTRACT A snowmobile chassis is provided as a unitary composite moulded structure fabricated as a resin impregnated glass fibre component incorporating metal strengthening and reinforcement elements integrally moulded therein. The improved chassis is simpler and cheaper to manufacture and gives rise to lower stress concentrations under operational conditions.
