SNOWMOBILE STAND ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A snowmobile stand is permanently attached to the frame of the snowmobile at the rear bumper and can pivot from a vertical stand position to a substantially horizontal retracted position for transport with the snowmobile. The length of the stand portion can be adjusted. The stand thus travels with the snowmobile and can be used to hold the track of the snowmobile supported away from the ground while the snowmobile is at rest to prevent freezing of the track and to allow starting of the track before the vehicle moves.
