A snowplow blade wing attachment comprising a fastening assembly hingedly attached to a side edge of the snowplow blade, an actuating means for rotating the wing attachment with respect to the snowplow blade between a closed position and an opened position, a bottom attachment end and a tripping edge having a top attachment end, wherein the tripping edge top attachment end is connected to the bottom attachment end of the wing attachment and rotationally displaced with respect to the wing attachment between a plowing position and a tripped position.
