The invention concerns a snowshoe including a foot-supporting piece (3) extending transversally within the snowshoe frame (1), which allows the foot to pivot, thus facilitating walking. It is characterized by the fact that the supporting piece (3) is suspended elastically within the frame (1) through means of attachment (5) that connect it to the sides (11, 11') of the frame (1). The supporting piece (3) can thus be lowered, based on the direction and /or size of the load to which it is subject transversally to the snowshoe, by remaining more or less horizontal. The snowshoe invention is particularly designed for walking on sloping land.
L'invention concerne une raquette à neige comportant une pièce de soutien (3) du pied de l'utilisateur qui s'étend transversalement à l'intérieur du cadre (1) de la raquette et qui autorise le pivotement du pied pour faciliter la marche. Elle se caractérise par le fait que la pièce de soutien (3) est suspendue élastiquement à l'intérieur du cadre (1) par l'intermédiaire de moyens d'attache (5) qui la relient aux flancs (11, 11') dudit cadre (1). La pièce de soutien (3) peut ainsi s'abaisser dans son ensemble en fonction de la direction et/ou de la valeur de la charge à laquelle elle est soumise transversalement à la raquette en restant sensiblement horizontale. La raquette selon l'invention est particulièrement destinée à la progression dans des terrains en devers.
