The snowshoe has a tubular oval shaped frame made up of one piece of aluminum. The front of the snowshoe is angulated upwards so as not to trip when walking. The decking is made from one solid piece of material. The decking is perforated all along the outer edges and eyelets are inserted. The decking is then attached to the frame by wrapping one continuous strand of material through the eyelets and then around the frame. The cross member, positioned between the toe and heel decking, is made of several strands of material wrapped across the top of the decking and around the frame. The strands are held in place by the cut out toe section of the decking, which is folded back over the cross member and riveted in place. This makes the cross member secure and prevents it from moving laterally.
