ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Soft capsules comprising an oil and a water soluble medicinal substance are prepared by incorporating the water soluble medicinal substance into the encapsulating film. The dosage level of the water soluble medicinal substance in the capsules can be more reliably controlled than where it is merely suspended in the oil, and it is more readily absorbed into the system following administration of the capsule.
