Inorganic felt-based substrates for soilless cultivation, consisting of a multilayer mineral fibre felt in which the layers are at least partially folded in the substrate by carrying out one or more steps of compressing the original felt lengthwise, said felt with partially folded layers being arranged in the substrate so that in use the lengthwise compression direction remains parallel to a horizontal plane corresponding to the ground.
L'invention est relative aux substrats à base de feutres minéraux, utilisés pour la culture hors-sol. Les substrats selon l'invention sont formés à partir d'un feutre de fibres minérales disposées en strates, lesquelles sont, au moins partiellement, plissées dans le substrat, cette structure résultant d'une ou plusieurs opérations de compression longitudinal du feutre d'origine, ledit feutre à strates partiallement plissées étant disposé dans le substrat de manière que la direction de compression longitudinal reste parallèle au plan horizontal correspondant au sol pendant son utilisation.
